Production Supervisor - Temporary 12 Months
Job Description:
- Grand River Foods is a leading food solutions company serving customers in the North American grocery and food service industry.
- Role: Cover maternity leave for a PM Production Supervisor position for approximately 12 months.
- Dedicated to providing a quality work environment for employees and producing high-quality products for customers.
- Supervise all aspects of production during daily 9-hour shift with a focus on Health and Safety controls and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Manage efficiencies, monitor quality, and minimize production costs.
- Troubleshoot problems and prevent/minimize issues proactively.
- Train, coach, develop, and evaluate performance of production staff.
- Implement continuous improvement philosophy in all areas of operation.
- Proven leadership, team building, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 3+ years of leadership or Supervisory experience.
- Possession of Diploma or post-secondary education.
- Intermediate Computer Skills in Microsoft Office.
