Shipper/Receiver (Evening Shift)
Job Description:
- Sunrise Farms is a group of companies with primary focus in the poultry industry.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, GMP, and local and Federal Food Regulations.
- Ensure accurate counting and shipping of all loads.
- Load trucks safely and orderly according to route.
- Receive orders as per Standard Operating procedures.
- Pick and palletize orders based on customer requirements.
- Have excellent knowledge of all products.
- Fill out shipping/receiving paperwork correctly.
- Prepare shipping documentation like bills of lading and shipping labels.
- Must be fluent in English - speaking, reading, and writing.
- Able to read and understand customer orders.
- Heavy lifting capability required.
- Able to work in a cold environment.
- Must keep up with line pace.
- Operate a forklift, power jack, and RF gun .
- Evening Shift: 2:30pm - 11 pm. Monday to Friday.
- Overtime as required.
- Exposure to wet/cold conditions with potential slippery working conditions.
- Exposure to excessive noise.
- Physically demanding - long periods of walking/standing and heavy lifting.
- Company provides hairnet, clean smock, hearing protection, liner gloves, and rubber gloves.
- Employee to supply steel-toe footwear.
- Warm clothing required.
- Starting hourly wage: $16.65.
