  • Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead our regional operations while championing Indigenous community engagement and operational excellence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Drive and oversee regional sales efforts, building and nurturing long-term client relationships.
    • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and drive growth.
    • Effectively manage and dispatch operational crews to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
    • Mentor, train, and support new team members to align with GrizzlyTrek’s core values and standards.
    • Lead recruitment initiatives—from sourcing to hiring—ensuring the team is skilled, reliable, and ready for success.
    • Foster and maintain strong ties with Indigenous communities, promoting respectful and mutually beneficial collaborations.
    • Actively support the hiring and development of talent from these communities.
    • Oversee regional projects, ensuring timely completion, quality assurance, and high client satisfaction.
    • Manage day-to-day operations, coordinating logistical and operational tasks to maintain seamless execution.
    • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and deliver results.
    • Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to the team.
    • Handle invoicing and maintain accurate financial records for timely collections.
    • Oversee budgetary planning and financial management for the region.
    • Serve as the primary liaison with customers, building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
    • Coordinate crew dispatching and operational support, ensuring projects run efficiently from start to finish.
    • Assist with onboarding, timekeeping, and administrative support to enhance overall team efficiency.
    • Possess a deep understanding of shutdown procedures within the oil and gas sectors or field/gas plant operations.
    • Continuously update industry knowledge to stay ahead of changes and best practices.
  • Requirements:
    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a Trades related field .
    • Experience:
      • Proven background in sales, marketing, and team management.
      • Demonstrated expertise in shutdown procedures or relevant field operations, ideally within the oil and gas industry.
      • Experience in recruitment and operational coordination.
    • Skills:
      • Exceptional communication, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
      • Familiarity with project management and timekeeping tools.
    • Additional Requirements:
      • Valid driver’s license.
      • A respectful understanding of Indigenous cultures and traditions.
