Health & Safety Specialist - 1 Year Contract

Job Description

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health and Safety Specialist to join our team and ensure a safe, compliant workplace. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, working directly in the field to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement safety protocols. This role will involve collaborating with both employees and leadership to develop, maintain, and improve health and safety programs, while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or related field.
• Able to complete a one-year contract starting in April 2025.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant role within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience in a food manufacturing setting is considered an asset.
• Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
• CRSP Designation is considered an asset.
