Environmental Health and safety Manager

Job Description:

• Location: Stouffville and Newmarket, Ontario

Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in HSE roles, ideally within construction, energy, or industrial sectors.
• Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
• Designations: NCSO and Environmental Professional required; additional certification in Quality Assurance is considered a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of legal contract obligations and regulatory frameworks .
• Exceptional writing and documentation skills to produce accurate reports, safety documents, and communications.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive eye for identifying near misses, hazards, and incident risk.
• High-level analytical and organizational skills, with a strategic mindset and a hands-on leadership approach.
• Experience supporting Indigenous workforce engagement and culturally responsive HSE practices is highly valued.
