FSQA Technician - Contract
Job Description
- Perform and/or assist in daily quality and food safety related decision making
- Responsible for ensuring product SOPs are accurate and available
- Perform daily monitoring and verification tasks
- Conduct plant audits to ensure GMPs and Plant policies are implemented
- Participate in external and internal audits
- Provide training, support, and coaching to employees
- Prepare sensory samples and participate in sensory evaluations
- Perform data entry and analysis tasks
- Participate in projects and meetings to improve food safety and quality
- Assist in the implementation of changes to advance FSQA systems and programs
Requirements
- University degree or college diploma preferably in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or related discipline
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Computer proficiency in email and spreadsheets
- Understanding of Sanitation, SOPs, HACCP, CCP’s, and GMP’s
- Interest and willingness to learn and teach others
- Self-directed and professional with well-developed English communication skills
