Job Description

  • Position Summary:
    • Reporting to the Assistant Store Manager, responsible for efficiently receiving, storing, and shipping products.
    • Must adhere to UFA customer service standards.
    • Qualifies for UFA Scholarship Program for students interested in working in rural communities during the summer.
  • Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
    • Participate in shipping/receiving/inventory functions.
    • Perform maintenance, operate materials handling equipment, load/unload trucks.
    • Maintain yard and warehouse appearance, comply with safety regulations.
    • Responsible for specific aisle area merchandising and inventory standards.
    • Make deliveries when required.

Requirements

  • Qualifications required for the position:
    • Grade 12 diploma with 1-2 years related experience or 3-5 years related experience without grade 12 diploma.
    • Warehouse/Yard and forklift experience.
    • Capable of physical labor and lifting up to 25 kg.
    • Basic computer proficiency and good communication skills required.
    • Must have WHMIS and TDG certifications, flexible for shift work.
    • Safety sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol screening test.
